LTV8051 GE NETWORK TAP

OVERVIEW
Luxcope™ LTV8051 Network TAP provides monitoring devices full and transparent access to network traffic. The system offers 16 network ports and 8 monitor ports, all ports supporting 10/100/1000Mbps. The network ports offer a quick recovery function (<40ms) to ensure link stability on power up/down.The high-density network TAP is designed to conserve switch/router ports and uses redundant power supplies to increase system reliability.

APPLICATION
Inside the data center, the LTV8051 high-density copper TAP is used to provide reliable, transparent access to 1Gbps network flows. The flows can be aggregated to increase efficiency to the data centers’existing monitoring tools. The failover capability ensures link stability even in the event of device power failure.The LTV8051 can be used at the enterprise edge where link speeds and densities are lower than those seen at the core.
